Adrian Tubb

Adrian has 22 years IT industry experience originally learning his trade having spent ten years in the Army as a telecoms engineer travelling to several deployment areas worldwide. More recently, he worked as a contract Infrastructure Engineer as part of the Infrastructure Project team at BT Cornwall and most recently as the Systems Administrator at a local roofing company. Adrian has also worked on Defence contracts including DV security cleared positions.

Upon leaving the Army, he trained in Data communications and as an Information Technology engineer; after which he worked in London for Fujitsu Services on a Defence project as a desktop support engineer (DV Security Cleared Role). This was all customer focused as he accessed buildings to fix MOD/Civil servants’ computer faults/network issues and carry out various other IT related tasks.

Adrian spent two years working for a telecoms company as a field telecoms engineer covering the Midlands region before moving to Kent to work for an IT Company on a help desk as a 2nd line engineer. When the helpdesk was then outsourced to Bulgaria, he travelled there to train colleagues.

New line of work brought him to Falmouth University as a 2nd/3rd line engineer for a year, then went back to London and worked for Fujitsu again as a Service Centre Specialist Team Leader as a contractor with a DV security cleared role.

From there, he moved over to Hewlett Packard on another defence project before returning to Cornwall to work as a contractor for BT Cornwall on a server refresh programme.

Adrian worked for a local Roofing company as their Systems Administrator, looking after all technical aspects as well as office administration and is Health and Safety trained.
